  "Kasey" was the the dam of our senior Stallion, Alii Makani and his full sister Alii Leea.  At age 26, we sadly and with great sorrow said our final good byes to this wonderful mare. To watch her play with the babies in the pasture is much like watching a unicorn. Kasey - your name summarized everything that the Arabian mare was meant to be.  To us you were "The Other Arabian".  You will be missed deeply every time we walk out into the pasture.  You leave behind a beautiful son and daughter and your legacy is stamped in each foal that is  produced by Ahi Lio Arabians.  You will always be remembered as the very special, sweet, and beautiful mare that you were.

Kasey was a superb example of Gainey breeding and the "Golden Cross" between Ferzon and Azraff.  There is no mistaking the tiny ears and pouting chin that Kasey inherited from Ferzon through her grandsire  Gai Parada+++/.  She continues to pass along that look to our foals through her son.
