Alii Makani        Senior Herd Sire

Alii Makani ("Makani" to his friends)!  Makani is settling in as the senior herd sire at Ahi Lio. He is the son of our classic Gainey mare  and one of 2 stallions sired by the black stallion Leevon (now deceased). 

Makani's bloodlines bring to our herd a wealth of American Foundation bloodlines.  His pedigree boasts and amazing 9 crosses to Raffles and 5 crosses to Ferzon in just the first 6 generations.  He is one of only a handful of horses who carries Doc Munson's herd sire Garaff in his forth generation.
